Flicker Events and Updates
JJ Studios does not run a battle pass treadmill. They run numbered patches and the occasional limited badge. The live patch is 4.4: Black Creek House, a lobby party system so friends actually queue together, and Twin Whisper so the linked pair can talk without dropping notes. Older events (Pumpkin Man, 100 million visits) still matter because the badges are stuck on accounts forever.
Update 4.4
4.4 (August 22, 2026) and the 4.4.1 hotfix the next day are the live patch. Black Creek House joins the vote. Parties form in the lobby and, as of 4.4.1, stay together after the match unless someone hits Rejoin Queue or Return to Lobby the wrong way. Twins toggle Whisper so only the partner sees the line. Console and controller finally work. Graveyard lists cause of death and death order. Savior revives grant Murderer immunity the following night. Clown wins lock the moment the vote lands. Limited badges you already missed
Halloween 2020: get a pumpkin from Pumpkin Man, who did not spawn every round, badge gone after November 2. 100 Million Visits: be there, get a future cosmetic IOU. These are why people still screenshot lobby UIs. They are not coming back. Do not buy a “Halloween badge recovery” from a stranger.
How to not miss the next one
Discord announcements, @JJStudiosROBLOX, in-game title changes. Not Trello. When a likes milestone hits, a code usually hits with it — jump back to the codes list. When a map is teased on Croire’s X, it is months out, not days. Patience is part of the Flicker fandom skill tree.
