Flicker Good Team Roles
Good wins by deleting Evil before the body count flips the majority. You have numbers. You do not have the night knife. The roles below are how you manufacture certainty without handing Murderer a name tag. Read them as a kit: Detective is always in the pool, one sleuth (Psychic or Spy), one helper (Medic or Savior), then Twins or Muffin Man, then Survivors filling the rest.
Detective — the clue printer
Every night you may receive a two-name card (at least one is Good) or a three-name card (at least one is Evil), or nothing. You do not visit, so Spy cannot catch you walking. That makes fake Detective a little harder for Evil, not impossible. Evil clues are worth a public push. Good clues are worth silence. Do not hang both names on a two-name Good card — both can be town.
Psychic and Spy — pick your poison
Psychic learns alignment, not the exact role. That still cracks Clown and it still cracks a quiet Murderer. Reveal when you have a live Evil and a table that will vote, not when you have a single Neutral and a dream. Spy bugs a seat and reads the visitor list. If someone who cannot visit (Detective, Survivor, Twin) is on that list, someone is lying in the morning. Bug likely kill targets, not randoms.
Medic, Savior, and the rest
Medic stops Murderer, not Assassin, not Clown. Self-heal once. Healing a Twin heals both. Savior brings one body back; the revived player is safe from Murderer for a night. Do not revive Clown unless you enjoy losing. Muffin Man is the self-confirm: a muffin plus a note is the cleanest Good proof in the game, which is why a smart killer farms you. Twin is a shared HP bar with whisper. Survivor is the vote. Play Survivor like a journalist, not a mute.
Frequently asked questions
Short answers for the searches that follow a bad round.
Should Detective claim night one?
Only with a sharp Evil clue and a reason to believe Medic exists. Otherwise you become the first corpse.
Can Spy and Psychic both spawn?
No. One sleuth per round.
Does muffin do anything?
Cosmetics only. Social proof is the ability.
Can Savior save both Twins?
No. One Twin returns. The other stays dead.
