4.4 — August 22, 2026

Spotlight: Black Creek House, lobby parties that force the same match, Twin Whisper, and controller/console support. Features: pronouns on custom avatars, cause of death under names in Graveyard, Anonymous gender multi-select that saves between matches. Matches now force an R6-lookalike rig even though the experience moved to R15 — custom emotes die in-round, lobby avatars stay unrestricted, and a Settings toggle picks R6 or R15 animation. Anyone who played before 4.4 defaults to R6.

Rules that change how you argue: dead players who stay until the end still bank a team win. Savior revives are immune to the Murderer the following night. Graveyard order is death order. Clown gets the win the instant the vote lands, so a later Savior rez does not steal the Neutral clip. Map-vote negatives from x2 flicking were fixed. Sewer ladder traps and Woods cave-roof climbs were patched.

4.4.1 — August 23, 2026

Parties persist after a match. If a non-leader hits Rejoin Queue or Return to Lobby they leave the party. If the leader hits those buttons while anyone is still alive, they leave and another member becomes leader. Chat-bar cutoff got a workaround. Mobile journal no longer blacks the screen. Two Black Creek death scenes that shipped without faces got faces.

What 4.3 still matters for

January 9, 2026 (4.3.2) removed Classic Mode and added chat-verified matchmaking with a player-list icon when you cannot talk to someone. January 10 added Quick Chat; April 8 (4.3.4) removed it after a moderation takedown and bumped note cooldown to 30 seconds. June 2025 (4.3) added Voice Chat Servers as an in-game lobby pick and the Ambusher role. The Roblox experience page currently stamps Voice Chat as “Not Supported” at the platform badge layer — the in-game Voice Chat queue from 4.3 is a separate door. Use the modes page, not the Roblox chrome, to pick it.
