How to Win as Murderer in Flicker
You are the only guaranteed night knife. You are also the only player who cannot be witched and cannot be assassinated. That sounds like a power fantasy until Medic saves your target, Assassin never notes you, and you stab your own Scout. This is the Evil leader playbook for Regular and Anonymous. Classic Murderer is a different, lonelier job.
Night one is not a buffet
Do not stab the first name. Do not stab the person who said hello. Do not stab Muffin Man for the clip. Night one is for removing a likely Medic/Psychic without confirmation, or for skipping entirely if the table is already hanging itself. A skipped night plus a fake “we got Murderer” vote is still legal.
If you received a note that says “I know you’re good” or “don’t kill me” on night one, that is Assassin trying not to drop a confession. Do not advertise that you understood it.
Finding your people
Assassin sees you. You do not see them. Dark Psychic and Scout will try to look like town. Trust journals that protect you a little too hard. Do not write “I am Murderer” in a note. Notes drop 20% of the time. After two Evil are dead, stop knifing and start voting — majority math can finish the round without another body.
What kills you
Clown. Spy on your visit. Psychic who decided to gamble. A Medic who kept your target alive until the table had a list. You cannot be witched, so claiming “I was witched” is a tell if someone else was actually blocked that night. No. A fake “Murderer is gone” swing can be worth more than a Medic-save screenshot.
