Flicker Black Creek House

Update 4.4’s headline is a modest house on a quiet street. Neighbors see people go in. They do not see people come out. JJ Studios teased it through 2025, confirmed it for a January 2026 window, and shipped it with the party system and Twin Whisper. The community wiki still lags the patch. This page is the working notes until callouts stabilize.

How it plays versus House

Treat it as House with less memorized death-scene comedy. New floors punish people who navigate by TV-head muscle memory. Spend the first night learning doors, not arguing. If your party queued together, assign one person to call rooms in plain English so the other fourteen are not inventing names.

Why it shipped with parties

A new map in a social game is a throw simulator until the callouts exist. Parties let a five-stack learn the house together instead of scattering across public queues. You can still solo it. You will lose time. That is fine. The maps hub explains the 25-second vote so you can actually land here on purpose.

Death scenes and 4.4.1 fixes

Players already named one pose “Shoved in a box” — a mop-looking corpse in a crate. 4.4.1 patched two Black Creek death scenes that shipped without faces. Death scenes are still random flavour, not a Murderer tell. The graveyard tab now prints cause of death under the name and lists corpses in the order they died, which is the real information layer on this map.

Room-by-room callouts are still settling. Use doors, not invented well names. When official room labels exist they will replace this paragraph. Until then, journals beat geography.
